Christmas 2020 Online Mindfulness Sessions
Mindfulness at Christmas
25th December | 9am - 9pm
If you would like to take a breather on Christmas day and (virtually) gather with some other like-minded people please come join us for a gentle mindfulness session. Simply click on the link of the session you wish to join a little before the hour and you will be admitted. Please note, for safety reasons it is not possible to join a session after it has begun. Each practice session will be about half an hour in length and will run on the hour, beginning at 9am with the last session starting at 9pm. The sessions are led by fully trained Mindfulness teachers; you are welcome to join one or more sessions, and as always, there is no charge. There are some links to charities on this page if you would like to make a donation, but there is no obligation to do this.
Participant Wellbeing
As the participant, it is very important for you to listen to your own inner wisdom. Adjusting to practice online has been challenging for everyone. Here are a few suggestions to support you; Make sure you are comfortable, remember the option of turning off your video if you wish, “pin” the teacher* when the practice begins if it feels overwhelming looking at other participants, or stay on “gallery view”* if the company of others feels supportive.
If a practice is causing you to feel agitated or distressed, then you should stop and consider talking to a supportive friend or family member.
