8 Week Self-Compassion For Shame (SCS) Course

Course Information
Description
Do you struggle with setting boundaries, standing up for yourself, or
finding balance between caring for others and your own well-being.
What would happen if you were able to care for yourself when you felt shame, rather than being
immobilized by fear, attacking yourself, or zoning out?
How would your life be different if you could meet shame with compassion and stay connected, think
in a balanced way, and make wise, healthy choices?
If the answer is Yes to either of the above questions and you would like to explore your own relationship to shame through the lens of self-compassion then welcome to this groundbreaking program developed by Dr. Chris Germer and the SC-Shame development team at the Centre for
Mindful Self-Compassion (CMSC).
In this course, we’ll take a unique, non-pathological look at shame through the eyes of selfcompassion and discover how self-compassion is the antidote to shame.
This course is particularly suited for psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists, and ALL mental health professionals to enhance your personal and professional understanding of self-compassion and it’s unique in a safe experiential and embodied way.
