Aideen has a background in secondary education having worked in schools in the U.K and Ireland. She completed her first MBSR course in 2011 and since then has been practicing mindfulness. Mindfulness is a tool that has helped her manage the business of life while also appreciating the beauty in the ordinary moments of her day.
Aideen has always been passionate about empowering people through learning and in 2017 completed a diploma in mindfulness so that she could teach mindfulness to others. Aideen has also completed the dot b training for 11-18 year olds with Misp. Aideen works as a consultant trainer with the Hawn Foundation delivering the MindUp social emotional learning framework to primary schools. The framework was developed by neuroscientists, behavioural pyschologists and social emotional learning experts in order to teach kids about the brain and teach them how to regulate their emotions through mindfulness practices. Aideen also delivers workshops to teachers and businesses along with one-to-one mindfulness.
