I am a trained mindfulness teacher and yoga instructor. I have practiced meditation for over ten years and have trained as a mindfulness teacher with the Institute for Mindfulness Based Approaches. I am a registered member of Yoga Alliance UK & Ireland and hold RYT 500 certification. I have been trained by Frits Koster and Erik van den Brink to teach Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living.
I work with people and with organizations. I offer a range of workshops and courses for organisations who understand the benefits of mindfulness training and believe in investing in the health and well-being of their staff. I combine my understanding of the challenges of the corporate sector with my experience as a mindfulness teacher. Having worked as a corporate lawyer for over ten years, I have particular knowledge of the legal sector and I am the founder of Mindfulness for Law (www.mindfulnessforlaw.ie).
I currently work with a variety of different groups including law firms, universities (staff and students), tech companies, not for profit organisations and schools. I also run my own MBSR and Self Compassion programmes at various times during the year.
In 2016 I co-founded Nature In Mind (www.natureinmind.ie). Nature in Mind is an educational organisation which aims to help people improve their health and well-being through mindfully connecting with the natural world. We offer nature connection courses and workshops in outdoor settings for a variety of groups.
