Colette Kealy worked as a vet in small animal practice for c. 20 years, worked for a time in community development and is now working in further education.
She completed a MSc in Mindfulness Based Interventions in the UCD School of Psychology.
Colette regularly attends retreats and further trainings, eg in Somatic Movement (Lisa Petersen), Trauma Sensitive Yoga (Boston Trauma Center) and Mindfulness/MBCT for Life and Finding Peace in a Frantic World (Oxford University). She has a Diploma in yoga teaching from Yoga Therapy Ireland.
Colette teaches on the Mindfulness for Health module offered to Health Science students in UCD. She offers mindfulness in workplace settings and yoga/mindful movement to the general public. Colette supports students as as a practice mentor on the UCD Masters in Mindfulness programme.
