Helen has a Masters in Teaching Mindfulness from the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University, Wales which she achieved in 2016. Helen began practicing mindfulness meditation in 2005 and has a regular mindfulness and yoga practice.
Helen’s professional background is in Clinical Psychology. She is registered as a Chartered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland. Helen currently works as a Senior Clinical Psychologist in Paediatric Medicine. She is trained to teach the Paws b and dot b Mindfulness in Schools’ programmes which she adapted for young people with chronic pain. Prior to her current role, Helen worked in adult mental health in New Zealand. She brings extensive experience as a Clinical Psychologist to mindfulness teaching.
Helen offers mindfulness workshops and courses within workplace settings and for the general public.
