Josephine obtained her Masters in Mindfulness Based Approaches from Bangor University North Wales in 2012. She has been working is this area in some sense for many years. Her earlier career was in the area of MindBody health including shiatsu, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine were some the modalities she used. Her interest was also in Community Health Education and for some years while grants were available, was part of Slainte Pobal who brought subject such as healthy diet, mediation, relaxation exercises to areas of disadvantage. She also recognized that mindfulness needed a body to support right mindfulness and so spent more than 10 years in the development of the MTAI . She was the first chair from 2018- 2020. She also lectures on the Masters course in UCD in Mindfulness Based Approaches, is a co Founder and Director of the Mindfulness Centre, Dublin 2 as well as running an 18 Professional Training in Mindfulness Teaching. She enjoys gardening and loves to share cooking that can help us and the planet stay well.
Josephine Lynch is a graduate of the UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute and has completed all requirements to become a fully certified teacher of the Mindful Self-Compassion program as outlined by the Center for Mindful Self Compassion April 29, 2021
