My name is Kathryn. I am a qualified nurse and have been practising yoga and meditation since 2000. I am a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher having trained with the Centre for Mindfulness (CFM), University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, Massachusetts and the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP), Bangor University, Wales.
I am committed to practising mindfulness in my own life as a busy working mum and am very passionate about sharing these practical and supportive tools with others. My teaching style is infused with gentle guidance to nurture self compassion, a life enhancing and transformational skill.
Most of my courses run at The Novara Centre, Bray Seafront on Tuesday evenings. Participants come from Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford & Waterford. I offer the 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme twice a year in January and September and I run Mindfulness Practice Evenings throughout the year. These are open to beginners and experienced mindfulness practitioners.
