About Denise Coleman

I have been practicing mindfulness for a number of years, as a parent of a child with mental health problems I have come to know the support that mindfulness can offer to both parents and caregivers.  I deliver weekly mindfulness classes as part of a support program for parents of children with ADHD and ASD.  I work closely with related organizations as part of neurodiversity projects to deliver mindfulness to children, young adults and families.

I have worked in the public and private sector for over 40 years and understand the benefits that increasing mindfulness in the workplace can have on both the individual and the collective.  I deliver mindfulness courses to a range of organizations as part of workplace wellbeing.

Bringing mindfulness to the community is close to my heart, I deliver mindfulness courses within various community settings and I am involved in community wellbeing programs for women within the community.

I deliver the Mindfulness in Schools .b program (MiSP).

I continue to work in the area of health and wellness as an accredited Reflexologist, Massage therapist, Reiki master, Bach flower remedy practitioner. I have worked as the primary reflexologist and massage therapist in Cherry Orchard Hospital for over 10 years.

I continue my personal and professional development.  I am committed to my own personal practice and regularly attend silent retreats and further training, receive supervision while teaching and adhere to the Good Practice Guidelines.
