My own mindfulness experience goes back 12 years ago, when I was asked to attend a silent weekend retreat. This first deep experience with stillness and being just with myself showed me that it was possible, if not easy, to be with myself with kindness and for tiny moments quietening the nonstop chatter in my extremely busy mind. I stayed on this journey and benefited very much from the 8 weeks MBSR course, that encouraged me to practice every day. I noticed a change in my life and more freedom in my way of relation to the world around me. The journey led me to become a MBSR Teacher myself for Adults and in Schools. Being able to give on these life skills is something I am deeply grateful for.
